The film will concentrate on key aggregation points around the world: Mexico, South Africa...。改编自阮章竞1955年创作的童话诗《金色的海螺》，来自于民间神话传说《海螺姑娘》。海边住着一个勤劳的青年，他每天出海打渔，有一天他一条鱼都没捕到但却捞着了一只金色的海螺，青年把海螺放在水缸里。每当青年出海的时候，海螺便会变成一位美丽的少女帮他煮饭、缝衣，原来海螺是蓝海仙女变成的，她早已对青年芳心暗许。但是这一切被蓝海仙女的母亲海神娘娘发现了，她狠心拆散了青年与仙女，但经过青年的不懈努力，海神娘娘终于被他打动，青年与海螺仙女幸福地生活在了一起。。恰逢当地盛大的节日庆典，富商郑炳睿邀请女儿婷婷的老师李慧萍和一众同学家长来家中聚会，不料婷婷突遭绑架。警官张景贤带队侦办此案，绑匪以婷婷生命相威胁，要求郑炳睿与李慧萍带上巨额赎金赴约，一路上二人发现了绑架案背后隐藏的秘密……。
